Jubilee has been a challenge for me when it comes to reading. We tried many different avenues, different methods, and different books to teach her to read. We even had her eyes checked because we thought surely something else is keeping her from being able to read.

Fisher is constantly asking his siblings to read to him. He can almost always be found with a lap full of books. Every single time he would ask Jubilee, she would respond with “I can’t read, but we can look at the pictures.” Until last week!!!! For the first time ever, Fisher asked and she said YES! And she did!! She is reading books all by herself and getting the words correct.

In the end, it took TIME! Yes, lots of effort, many tears, but TIME was the key. I am so proud of her! Look at her go!
